Queen of Denmark è stato registrato in due sessions da due mesi e realizzato oltre che da Grant anche dai Midlake. E' un'eccezionale sintesi che dimostra finalmente a mostrare e ad esprimere l’incredibile ed unico talento dell’ex leader dei CZARS.
La voce calda di Grant riempie le melodie pop 70's malinconiche e mare. Una voce capace di trascinare, emozionare tra i registri del folk rock e la ballata anni 70. Ma c'è spazio anche per brani più sostenuti e raffinati che traducono la sensibilità di un'anima forte nel confronto con la società. Un vero capolavoro di drammatica e intensa bellezza.
